Why gas fire instead of wood fire?

There are many points that speak in favor of a gas fire - especially in direct comparison to a wood fire. First of all, we would like to address the safety-related aspects: gas fires do not produce flying sparks, which offers additional protection for people and objects. In addition, the gas fire can be switched on and off at the touch of a button, whereas a wood fire - once it is burning - continues to glow for a long time and therefore represents an additional safety risk. Nevertheless, safety must of course also be taken into account with a gas fire.

Furthermore, a tilt-free position should be possible, which can be ensured, for example, by integration into masonry, but can also be achieved with bases and additional fastenings. Caution must also be exercised with a gas fire: flammable materials should remain at least 100 cm away from the gas fire. In addition, many gas fires in the garden can also be fitted with additional protective devices that do not interfere with the attractive appearance - for example, with protective glass that offers a clear view of the gas fire and at the same time prevents accidents.
